Wimbikai is an adept (Re)insurance Practitioner with experience spanning over twelve years in this field. Having graduated with a First-Class degree in Risk Management and Insurance, she has managed to convert the academic prowess into practical expertise with her work in reinsurance.

She is a champion for knowledge sharing and has demonstrated this by driving training both internally with co-workers and externally with industry peers, having conducted numerous trainings in the region on underwriting subjects including Political Violence & Terrorism, Cyber, Agriculture, Property, Bonds & Guarantees and Treaty Reinsurance.

If anything at all is a challenge and/or is emerging, it falls right in her alley. She is a firm believer in teamwork, partnerships and community. Outside of the (re)insurance space, she is either exploring her creative side – authoring anything from short stories to long reads, or she is in church.

The Reinsurance industry is one that she holds in high esteem, hence her giving it her all. As per her mantra: "if you want to go fast, go alone but if you want to go far, go together" Wimbikai is always looking forward to an opportunity 'go together.'
