Mr. Haruna Gariba

Director.

Haruna Gariba is an investment banker and energy risk management professional with over ten years diversified experience in investment banking. He started his career with Merban Stockbrokers Ltd., a subsidiary of Merchant Bank (now Universal Merchant Bank) in 2005. 

 

Haruna played a key role in capital market transactions undertaken by MSL including GOIL and SIC Insurance IPO and Listing, Rights Issue of HFC Bank, Tender Offer and delisting BAT, ABL and CFAO from the GSE and Bonus Issue of PZ Cussons and GOIL among others.

 

He has extensive experience in portfolio management, corporate finance, and securities trading and analysis. His areas of interest are relationship management, research, financial modelling, debt & equity financing, financial and investment advisory, investment research, Energy finance and management, risk management and financial services marketing. Haruna holds an MBA (finance) from GIMPA), B.Ed. Social Science (Economics) from University of Cape Coast and Ghana Securities Industry Certificate.

 

He also trained as professional stockbroker and an Energy Risk Professional with certified membership of Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP-USA). Mr. Haruna Gariba, is the Chairman, Audit and Finance Committee
