Manager – Life.

Clementine Chinyuku is the Life Manager for WAICA Re Zimbabwe effective 1st August 2024. A seasoned professional in Life Assurance and Reassurance, she brings over 25 years of valuable experience. Clementine is a distinguished insurance professional with extensive experience spanning life underwriting, claims, reassurance, and business administration.

Beyond her operational responsibilities, Clementine is a highly regarded trainer in technical insurance, sharing her knowledge across various institutes locally, regionally, and internationally. Demonstrating a commitment to the industry's future, she is passionately driven to mentor and develop young insurance professionals.

Her leadership and influence are further evident through her roles as the President of the Insurance Institute of Zimbabwe (IIZ), 1st Vice President of Women in Insurance Zimbabwe (WIZ), and a Life Offices Association Board member. Notably, Clementine was recognized as one of the top 10 women to watch in Africa as a 2024 recipient of the prestigious Angaza Awards. She has received several other awards, including GCR Ambassador of the Year at the Women in Governance, Risk & Compliance Awards and the Outstanding Insurance Leader of the Year (Gold).

Clementine holds an LLB-Laws Degree from the University of South Africa and a Master's Degree in Risk and Insurance from the National University of Science and Technology, Zimbabwe. Further solidifying her expertise, she is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (FIISA).
