Charles started his career with then Zimre Reinsurance Company in November 1997 as a Trainee Underwriter. He meritoriously rose through the ranks up to the position of Head – Treaty Underwriting, a position he held until November 2008 when he left to start Tropical Reinsurance Company from an ordinary environment. He later resigned from this, his brain child inSeptember 2010 having set up all the systems.

Charles, an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute UK and he has lectured in Reinsurance Application on a part-time basis at N.U.S.T. and has conducted training seminars on Reinsurance Principles, Treaty Pricing, Reinsurance Programme Design and Reinsurance Technical Accounting in many countries in Africa.
